Alda Manuel
Alda Manuel is focused on education, environment and social activism. Alda volunteered as a Child/ Adult support worker at Kids Kabin while studying in England, and she is the Project Coordinator at the United Kingdom Alumni Association in Angola. In addition to her duties in STEM, Alda is an Ambiental activist who has effectively contributing to a sustainable ecosystem by participating in the “Let's Do It” activities in Angola and contributing in the organizing committee of Africa Science Week Angola in 2019.
Alda is an Electrical Engineer at Anglobal, who graduated from Newcastle University with (Division I) Honours Bachelor Degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineer, where she was honoured to be the orator at the 2018 graduation ceremony of the EEE students. She has post-graduation in Pedagogy from Oscar Ribas University. Her leading role at work is to install electrical gensets for synchronisation technology and programme on controllers for renewable application purposes. She is a firm believer in renewable energy.
Alda has been appointed as Ambassador for the Next Einstein Forum in 2020/2021, and will be in charge leading organizing committee for the Africa Science Week Angola in 2020.
