Audrey Alma-Meyer
Visual Artist, Born in Belgium and grew up in Brussels, she lives in Israel since 1984.
Bachelor degree and Master degree in Far Eastern Studies from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, specialising in Japanese culture. Her Master thesis was written about the concept and implementation of a Japanese cultural exhibition designed for the Western public.
Audrey has worked with two Japanese and American mega corporations for 6 years, as the CEOs assistant, developing organisational skills, language skills and common sense.
Since 2005, Audrey has delved into Mosaic Art and more recently into analog collages.
Volunteering is one of the most appealing activities she takes part in. With mosaics, she has done several art projects for the support of people in hardships at war; she took part in a six month civic actions project with youth in their city under siege; and she has created several artworks to promote Peace.
She has also pursued a two-year program in Museology and Curatorship at the Tel Aviv University. And her final work has focused on an exhibition of Art Videos aimed at bridging between two neighbouring nations who have first no clue one about the other and end up communicating together.
