Erica Tavares

I am a 22-years old Angolan Environmentalist and Biologist, currently studying a Msc in Ecology and Evolution. I am passionate about people, nature and science - which provide us tools to understand the world. Therefore, I am trying to use the knowledge I am gaining for fair human and biodiversity rights.

My mission is to raise awareness about environmental exploitation and degradation, promoting sustainability and environmental conservation. To accomplish that, I have co-founded and now direct EcoAngola, an organisation that stands for environmental justice looking for solutions for the current environmental and social crisis in Angola and we do it through articles, campaigns, events, education, policies and practices contributing for the well-being of all citizens of the world.
