
Kishore G. Reddy
Kishore is a youth empowerment advocate with a focus on community development, environmental conservation and climate adaptation. Kishore co-founded the Youth for Sustainable Impact(YSI) which is dedicated to providing solutions to pressing issues through research, education, youth-engagement and skill-development. He has helped to build the capacity of youth by providing complementary education and mentorship.
Identifying environmental challenges and unemployment clubbed with art/fashion as an opportunity to create decent jobs, project AYUDHA under YSI is currently promoting rural innovation through its projects which provide skill-development to set up businesses for unemployed youth and women developing Eco-friendly handicrafts and apparel, using local art-forms and culture.
Kishore is involved with the UNMGCY in SDG-8 working group. He is a Harvard University Scholar for Harvard Project on Asian and International Relations and has also been awarded the 21 under 21 award by Talerang. He has worked on projects of a diverse portfolio including conservation projects, China, sustainable tourism and economic development in Egypt etc; and has been to various international events hosted by UN entities as a youth speaker giving him a diverse perspective of various issues.
