Nasreen Al-Amin
Nasreen Al-amin is a climate justice advocate in Nigeria and founder of Surge Africa, a non-profit organization with focus on climate change remediation & policy advocacy, education and human capitalization through capacity building and sustainable livelihood development. She leads grassroots climate advocacy movements to build climate resilience through various initiatives.
She works with students to develop interdisciplinary skills by identifying social issues and creating innovative impactful solutions. Her contributions to education includes sponsoring orphans to school and quality education advocacy.
Through her organization she has trained youths on circular economy system, creating jobs and boosting skills and has carried out numerous photojournalism sessions with media persons on how to document climate change impacts.
