Sophie Halbreich
Founder of "Yeutze Zahav” ("Golden Services" in Hebrew), the first private social service founded in 1993, providing assistance, orientation, and support for the elderly and for their relatives in Israel. Yeutze Zahav is among the precursors in this field. Sophie has managed Yeutze Zahav for 12 consecutive years.
Her husband’s relocation brought them to Luxembourg and then Switzerland (2004 - 2014) - 10 years abroad.
From abroad Sophie worked between 2009 and 2013 for the design and foundation of an association of consulting companies for the elderly in order to set strict standards and ethical rules to be recognised by the Health Ministry and Ministry of Social Affairs and Welfare.
In 2014, Sophie returned with her family to Israel. Since then, she has been pursuing her love for Art - delving into sculpture, portraiture, drawings and sketches and involved in different Artivism projects.
Born in Brussels in 1966; moved to Israel, Alyah in 1982
BA degree in Social Work from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Israel.
